Anxiety
Anxiety is a feeling of fear and distress, an intense worry and nervousness about something that may or may not have happened. Some physical responses can include sweating, feeling nauseous, shaky, restless and agitated with an inability to focus or rationalise, daily tasks can feel overwhelming and cause sleep disturbances.
Anxiety can cause a feeling of tightness in the chest from a fear of not being able to breath, which reduces the amount of oxygen supplied to the brain, heart and gut and can result in a panic attack.
