Hello, I’m Becky.
I support neurodivergent children and young people to better understand themselves and their strengths, feel more confident, and find ways to work through challenges like school stress, anxiety, overwhelm, friendships, emotions, and self-esteem. Coaching is a relaxed, supportive space where you can be yourself without feeling judged or pressured to fit into someone else’s expectations.
A lot of what I bring into coaching comes from real lived experience. I am neurodivergent myself and was diagnosed with ADHD at 41 after recognising many of the same traits and struggles in my own children. I am also a parent carer to three neurodivergent children and have first-hand experience supporting young people with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, selective mutism, anxiety, and emotionally based school avoidance. I understand how exhausting and isolating things can sometimes feel - both for young people and for families trying to navigate school, services, and everyday life.
Over the years, I have become passionate about supporting parent carers, children, and young people through advocacy, mentoring, training, representation and leadership roles within SEND and neurodivergent communities. As part of this, I have also worked with schools, local authorities, and NHS providers, which gives me an understanding of both the emotional and practical challenges families can face. This led to me training to become a qualified ADHD coach.
Sessions are focused on helping young people:
Understand how their brain works
Build confidence and self-belief
Make sense of emotions and overwhelm
Develop strategies that work for them
Recognise their strengths, not just their struggles
I also use creative approaches, including LEGO®️-based coaching, to make sessions more interactive and comfortable, especially for young people who find direct conversations difficult at first.
My goal is simple: to help young people feel understood, accepted, more confident in themselves, and less alone in what they are experiencing.
