Overview
N.O.W.S are here to support the education system with personalised 1–2–1 therapeutic trauma informed coaching and mentoring sessions for children and young people.
Each session lasts 1 hour, delivered on-site, with the option of up to two days per week within the school or college environment.
Our trauma-informed coaches provide a safe and supportive space for students to explore their emotions, build self-awareness, and develop the tools needed to thrive personally, emotionally, and academically.
Focus Areas and Techniques
Our 1–2–1 sessions are rooted in therapeutic and trauma-informed practice, combining evidence-based coaching, creative expression, and emotional wellbeing tools to build resilience and confidence.
Students will be guided through techniques that support:
Emotional regulation
Emotional intelligence
Growth mindset development
Confidence and self-esteem building
Embracing individuality and self-acceptance
Wellbeing techniques
Creative expression to release stress, anxiety, tension, and anger
These sessions are flexible, compassionate, and tailored to meet each student’s unique needs and learning style.
Referral Pathways
Referrals are accepted directly from:
Inclusion, SEND, SEMH, and Pastoral Leads
Students may present with one or more of the following needs or experiences:
Neurodiversity
Sensory needs
Self-harm
Anxiety, depression, or low mood
PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)
Impact of COVID-19 and isolation
Bullying and peer conflict
Ruminating thoughts
Selective mutism
Relationship or family challenges

£350 + vat per day (up to 5 x 45mins needs led sessions)
Includes:
1-hour therapeutic trauma informed coaching or mentoring session
Bespoke session planning aligned with individual needs
Communication with school pastoral or SEND teams where required
Session feedback summaries (if agreed with school)
